Owner Daniel Baiceanu arrived from Europe with $20.00 in his pocket and began his career as an apprentice installing marble floors. Daniel grew into a talented craftsman and was soon in high demand, gaining a reputation as a flooring artist. Daniel always worked with a vision of the finished product in mind and soon his meticulous, flawless floors commanded so much attention from designers and flooring companies, Daniel had a twelve month waiting list.

            Marble Unlimited began as a home business in 1997 with owner Daniel Baiceanu working as an installer while his wife, Jennifer worked as a nurse. This fledgling enterprise soon included five employees, a rented warehouse and a fabrication shop in Hollywood, Florida. Both family and business continued to grow as the year 2000 welcomed the birth of the Baiceanu’s first son, Andrew. 2000 brought other changes as well with the Hollywood space outgrown and Marble Unlimited needing a new office to accommodate the development. At the same time, Jennifer was facing a dilemma of her own. The demands of a growing company were becoming incompatible with a nursing career. Jennifer decided to leave nursing and join the family business full time.
